There was no rear spoiler at all on the 6-Series till 1978. The 1978 back spoiler was a more solid affair than later rear spoiler, and carried the BMW badge.
Standard Euro spoiler available from 1981 — flexible rubber just covers trunk.
The M-Tech spoiler — part painted to match car, part black hard rubber.
